The School of Leadership engages world class faculty and guest speakers to deliver its programs. Each of the faculty have a proven record of leadership and subject expertise, and work towards driving specific learning objectives through their interactive engagements, workshops and seminars.
Lt. Gen. Kamaljit Singh (Retd.)
Lt. Gen. KJ Singh is a veteran Scholar General with over 50 years of experience in the armed forces, including 39 years of commissioned service. Most recently, he was the commander of the Western Command of the Indian Army, and has served in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Angola. He has received several commendations including AVSM and PVSM awards. He currently holds the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Chair at Punjab University.
Co-Founder & Executive Director, Gateway House
Manjeet Kripalani is the co-founder of Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations. She has had an extensive career in journalism, having worked at Businessweek as well as Forbes. She was the 2006-07 Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, New York. Currently, she is also a member of the Asian advisory board of the International Centre for Journalists and the Overseas Press Club.
Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan

President, Lok Satta Party,
A former physician, JP is a political reformer and columnist. He is the founder and the President of Lok Satta Party, and was a MLA from Andhra Pradesh. He is also the founder and General Secretary of Foundation for Democratic Reforms, an independent public policy think-tank and research resource center. A former Indian public administrator, well known for his role in electoral reforms and the Right to Information (RTI) act, he has also written columns in Indian newspapers.
Birad Rajaram Yajnik
Fine print Author & Digital Curator, Peace, Truth & Ahimsa
Birad Rajaram Yajnik is a speaker, author and curator. His name is synonymous with fine print production and his books have been translated into over nine languages! He is a Gandhian scholar, and has curated several museums and interactive installations focused on Gandhi, around the world. He also heads Visual Quest India – a boutique design and technology company, besides serving as a trustee at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Art.

Avinash is a graduate of Harvard College, class of 2017. While at Harvard, he studied Computer Science, danced with numerous groups, and participated in Harvard's Model United Nations conferences. He is a proud HMUN and HMUN India Alum, having directed at both conferences and having served as Under-Secretary-General for the General Assembly at HMUN 2016 and Director General at HMUN India 2016.

Toby Roper is a graduating senior at Harvard College, studying social studies and economics. Toby served as the President of the Harvard International Relations Council (IRC), the organization which oversees almost all Model UN and IR related activities run by Harvard College students. Toby also directed Model UN committees for in Boston, Vancouver, Beijing, Rome, Montreal, and Hyderabad. Hailing from the United Kingdom, and having grown up in London, Singapore, and Vancouver, Toby has long held a passion for international affairs, travel, and cultural exploration and is happy to talk with anyone almost endlessly about Rugby, Football, Cricket, and Ice Hockey.

Jeff Caso is a business analyst at McKinsey and Company, and is focused on improving cyber security frameworks across large organizations. He is an alumnus of Georgetown International University, and is an accomplished MUN alumni, having won numerous awards at prestigious conferences across the world. He has also been a professional public speaking and debate coach and has delivered workshops in schools around the world.
Dr. Dishan Kamdar
Dy. Dean, Academic Programmes, Indian School of Business
Dr. Kamdar is the Deputy Dean of Academic Programmes at the Indian School of Business. He has been widely published in top-tier journals and has presented his premiere conferences including the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Academy of Management (AOM) conference. He holds a doctorate from the National University of Singapore, where his area of study was organizational behaviour.

Aditya Soma is the CEO of MUNCafé and has helped deliver 15000 powerful learning experiences. Prior to MUNCafé, Aditya held various leadership roles at the national level & international level at AIESEC, which is an international youth leadership development organization spread across 130 countries. In one such role, he led a diverse team of 62 individuals representing 32 countries

Nikunj Agarwal is a published scholar and a national level debater, and has been associated with the Model UN community for over 8 years. He has won numerous awards at prestigious conferences across the world, and has also managed large student conferences, besides having been a Model UN, Debate and Public Speaking coach. He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics, and is currently developing learning programs for MUNCafe.

Katherine Bonner has served as the Secretary General of WIMUN India, and has been the Editor-in-Chief of Best Delegate Media. With over 11 years of Model UN experience, she is an alumnus of Emory University, where she also founded the Emory International Relations Association. Currently, she designs and delivers learning programs at MUNCafe.
With over 5 years of experience in student engagement and conference organisation, Pavana worked with Google for two years before diving into experiential education. She’s an avid outdoor enthusiast and adventure junkie, having gone on several treks and expeditions from when she was 13. Her passion for animals, the environment, books, exotic vegetarian food and brown coloured bags translates into her everyday life.

A nature loving backpacker who likes to indulge in painting, travel, trekking, adventure and sports. A keen interest in learning about indigenous tribes and their way of life has led him on multiple adventures across the plains and mountains of India. His experience in operations management, branding, advertising and web technology guided his professional life for several years before he switched to adventure & sports events. The last 8 years has seen him garner immense experience in designing and conducting outdoor learning programs by facilitating and leading groups into the wilderness and the experiences that come with it.

Born and brought up amidst the Sahyadri range of hills in central India, the mountains have always been his calling. Shreeram’s journey from being an amateur hiker to a professional mountaineer brought about challenging experiences and moments of learning and reflection which changed his perception of life. They also made him realise that sharing such experiences with others is what brings him utmost joy, and thus he has dedicated his attention to facilitating outdoor adventure activities.

Outdoor Programs Manager,
Born and raised in the beautiful and chilly mountain ranges of Uttarakhand, Bir underwent a course with one of the most prestigious mountaineering institutes in the country only reaffirmed his career choices. Bir worked with Outback Adventures, Bangalore for 3 years before he found his way to boisterous boulders of the Deccan region. He spent another 3 years with Great Hyderabad Adventure Club handling adventure equipment and facilitating learning programs for a mixed age group.

Co-founder of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Shomasree is a former Teach for India fellow who has worked in many alternative schools across the country. She just spent a year in Haji Public School in Kashmir.

Safdar is the co-founder of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and first founded a theatre company, playhouse, at the age of sixteen. He has directed four theatrical productions including an adaptation of Salman Rushdie’s Haroun and the Sea of Stories, which he performed with students from Teach for India in Delhi in 2015.

Sumeet Thakur is a recognised face in the Indian ad circuit. He has acted in more than 50 plays in Calcutta before he moved to Bombay and has since featured in films from production houses including Yash Raj Films and with directors including the likes of Ram Subramaniam. He has trained at Adishakti Repertoire in Pondicherry.

Satakshi is a trained contemporary dancer, having graduated from Attakalari Centre for Movement Arts. She takes regular workshops at Impulse Dance Studio in Calcutta and has been a choreographer/performer in many stage performances, having just completed a show in Chennai.

Tanmay is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London and has been taking theatre workshops for the last ten years. He essayed the role of Khan in the hit tv show, Indian Summers apart from playing a lead role in Brahman Naman, an indie film now available on Netflix.
